Tribute to Sharon Ryder 1957 - 2020

Dedicated to the memory of Sharon Ryder

Sharon sadly died on 14th July after a short battle with lung cancer.
Her strength and love were felt by many and she will be remembered as smiling til the end.
We chose St. Leonard's hospice because their hospice at home team have the most respect, care and compassion. Thank you for helping us make a difficult situation more manageable and giving my mum her last wishes of being at home.

From the start of diagnosis my mum wanted to stay at home as she didn't want to take care anyway from others. The hospice at home team came when we needed them, gave advice, information, support and care. They were compassionate and respectful. Without this service my mum would not have had her last wishes granted. Thank you for making this situation more bearable as we would have been lost without you and I hope this small contribute can continue to help other families in our situation.
